Faith & Scripture

How do I start reading the Bible?

Start small. You don’t need to read a whole book in one sitting. Try one page a day—let the Word meet you where you are.

Choose one that’s readable for you. The NIV (New International Version) and NLT (New Living Translation) are popular for their clarity and faithfulness to original text.
You’re not alone. Pray first, reflect, and seek insights from trusted commentaries or Bible study resources. The Holy Spirit reveals truth over time—stay curious and keep going.
Make it part of your routine. Start with one page, one verse, one moment a day. Join a community or weekly lesson like our Illuminate Snippets for encouragement.

Life & Transformation

I’m struggling—can reading the Bible really help?
Yes. God’s Word is alive and active (Hebrews 4:12). Whether you’re facing addiction, anxiety, loss, or uncertainty, Scripture speaks directly to the human heart. It won’t solve everything overnight, but it will begin to transform your thinking and renew your hope.
Not at all. We welcome everyone—whether you’re exploring faith for the first time, returning after a long time, or just searching for something real.

It’s our discipleship-focused outreach that supports people coming out of rehab or difficult life seasons, based on Romans 12:2. We focus on helping individuals Know Him, Grow in Him, and Show Him.

About 1PAD

What does “1 Page A Day” mean?
It started as a simple challenge to read one page of the Bible daily. That small step changed a life—and now it’s become a movement to help others experience that same transformation through the power of God’s Word.

Jeff Lamb, whose personal story of recovery and redemption fuels our mission. His transformation began by reading one page of the Bible a day—and God did the rest. Please visit our About Us page to learn more.
